Spring Show

The Noble County Spring Livestock Show and Exhibition takes place in February each year at the Noble County Fairgrounds in Perry.  Activities at the event include youth livestock show for cattle, swine, sheep and goats.

Schedule will follow what is listed in the Spring Show Livestock book.

Monday, February 9

  6:00 a.m.      Barn opens

12:30 p.m.     Swine in place, check-in, and weigh in

  4:00 p.m.     Swine Show

  5:00 p.m.      CAP Award Application

  6:00 p.m.     Ag Mechanics in place

 

Swine Sale Cards due 15 minutes after show

 

Tuesday, February 10

  6:00 a.m.     Barn opens

  9:00 a.m.     Goat Fitting Contest

10:00 a.m.     Sheep and Goats in place, check papers, and weigh in

12:30 p.m.     Lamb Lead Interviews and Show

  1:00 p.m.     Sheep Show

  4:00 p.m.     Goat Show – or 15 min. after Sheep Show if Show goes past 4:00

 

Sheep/Goat Sale Cards due 15 minutes after show.

 

Wednesday, February 11

  6:00 a.m.     Barns opens

  9:00 a.m.     Cattle Fitting Contest

  9:00 a.m.     Ag Mechanics judging

12:30 p.m.     Cattle in place, check papers, and weigh in

  2:00 p.m.     Broilers in place

  3:30 p.m.     Broilers Show

  4:00 p.m.     Cattle Show

Thursday, February 12

  4:00 p.m.      Premium sale animals must in barn

Lamb Lead
  • The objective of the Lamb Lead and Fashion Review is for the youth to promote the use of wool and sheep products by selecting wool garments and speaking on the usefulness and attractiveness of the garments and to improve the image of the sheep show.

CAP Awards
  • C.A.P. stands for Character - Attitude - Pride.
     

  • This is prestigious award is open to 4-H and FFA members in 9th-12th grades enrolled in Billings, Frontier, Morrison or Perry schools.  The award is a testament to how well the individual handles themselves, activities and presents themselves to others in their community and elsewhere.
     

  • The CAP award entries are due to the Show Office by 5pm on the first day of the Noble County Spring Livestock Show.

Thank you for your support of the 4-H and FFA exhibitors in the Noble County Spring Livestock Show.  During the premium sale, exhibitors are rewarded for their hard work.  You are not just supporting the local stock show, you are supporting the personal growth and development of each of the exhibitors here and making an impact on the future leaders they will become.

Concession Stand

The Spring Livestock Show will be operated by the Noble County 4-H Parent-Volunteer Association (PVA). This is the yearly fundraiser for the PVA in order to sponsor 4-H'ers with out-of-state trips, camps and 4-H Roundup.

 

At this time, hours will be:

  • Monday: 7am- 7pm/ End of Show

  • Tuesday: 7am- 7pm/ End of Show

  • Wednesday: 7am- 7pm/ End of Show

  • Thursday: 3pm-9pm/ End of Sale
